Reminder - Onboarding Instructions

Reminder - Onboarding Instructions

Dear Registrar Partner,

Our records show that your account hasn't yet accessed the Operational Testing & Evaluation (OT&E) environment.

As part of the upcoming transition of Radix TLDs to the Tucows Registry Services back-end platform, we'd like to remind you to log in to the OT&E environment and complete your integration testing.

Early testing and familiarization are essential to ensuring a smooth transition when the Radix TLDs move to Tucows Registry Services.

Radix TLDs transition details:

TLDs transitioning to Tucows Registry Services:
.fun, .host, .in.net, .online, .press, .pw, .site, .space, .store, .tech, .uno, .website

Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E) environment information:

Production environment information – available only once the transition is completed:

Important note:

Your OT&E credentials, along with the client private key and certificates, have been shared and are temporarily available at the following location:

Data merge has failed. Please contact trs-support@tucows.com for further assistance.

At this location, you will find two OT&E certificate bundles, which include:

  • CA Root Certificate – used to sign all certificates for the Tucows Registry SRS platform (EPP)
  • Intermediate CA Certificate – used to verify the EPP OT&E server certificate
  • OT&E Client Certificates and Private Keys – for both of your test accounts

You will need a properly configured X.509 certificate store to ensure your connection is accepted. It is mandatory that your EPP client presents the attached client certificate to our EPP server. While optional, we strongly recommend validating our server certificate using the CA certificates provided.

Technical details regarding EPP testing in the OT&E environment are available in the Registrar Console at: https://console.ote.radix.host/manage/documents

Production access certificate requirements

Please note: while we have provided certificates and private keys for OT&E access, Production access requires you to submit a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) so that we can generate your EPP client certificate. Kindly send your CSR ensuring the following:

  • Key length: at least 2048 bits
  • Common Name (CN): must match your login name

Please do not share your private keys with us under any circumstances. The CSR already contains all the necessary information required to securely generate your certificate. Your private key must remain confidential and should always be stored safely within your own systems.

If you encounter any issues with your OT&E credentials, need further assistance, or have questions, please contact our support team at trs-support@tucows.com.

We look forward to supporting you through a smooth and efficient onboarding process.

Sincerely,
Tucows Registry Services
